Installation Procedure

    Front Seat Cushion Frame (3) - Install

  2. NOTE:

    The new cushion frame may not have adjuster stops installed. Transfer the adjuster stops from original frame or install new as needed. The frame may need to be adjusted to access the adjuster stops.

  3. Front Seat Adjuster Stop (2) - Install [2x]
  4. If NEW threaded components are being installed, loosen the adhesive using a metal pick or similar tool before proceeding. If threaded components are reused, prepare the threaded components using the following steps:
    1. Remove any loose cured adhesive from the external threads of the components using a lint free cloth.
    2. Thread the cleaned components into the internal mating threads and remove to loosen trapped cured adhesive.
    3. Apply thread locking adhesive to the external threads of the components. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers 
    4. Ensure there are no gaps in the thread locking adhesive once applied to the component.
  5. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  6. Front Seat Upper Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

    Front Seat Lumbar Support (1) - Install

    Front Seat Cushion Outer Finish Cover Support (1) - Install [2x]

    Front Seat Adjuster Memory Module Bracket (2) - Install

  10. Position the wiring harness.
  11. Front Seat Adjuster Memory Module Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

    Front Seat Heater Vent Control Module (2) - Install

  13. Front Seat Heater Vent Control Module Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  14. Connect the electrical connectors.

    Front Seat Cushion Pad Support (1) - Install

  16. Install the retainers.

    Airbag Front Passenger Presence Module (2) - Install

  19. Install the airbag front passenger presence module sensor onto the bracket.
  20. Connect the electrical connector.
  21. Airbag Front Passenger Presence Module Retainer (1) - Install [2x]

    Front Seat Cushion Cover Retainer - Power Sideshield (2) - Install

  23. Front Seat Adjuster Finish Cover Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Front Seat Cushion Cover Retainer - Front Sideshield (2) - Install

  25. Front Seat Adjuster Finish Cover Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Front Seat Belt Buckle (2) - Install

  27. Connect the electrical connector and install the wiring harness retainers as necessary.
  28. Front Seat Belt Buckle Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Front Seat Inner Recliner Finish Cover (1) - Install [2x]

    Front Seat Cushion Cover and Pad (2) - Install - Front Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Removal and Installation , or Front Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Removal and Installation (Blackwing) 

  33. NOTE:

    The Regulatory Name for this component because of SAE J1930 is Restraints Occupant Classification System Module.
