Removal Procedure

    Front Seat Back Cover and Pad (1) - Remove - Front Seat Back Cover and Pad Removal and Installation (with Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel) , or Front Seat Back Cover and Pad Removal and Installation (without Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel) , or Front Seat Back Cover and Pad Removal and Installation (Blackwing)

    Using a suitable pointed or flat bladed tool, push both metal clips (1) rearward while lifting upward on the front seat head restraint frame.

  3. Front Seat Head Restraint Frame (2) - Remove

    Using a suitable flat-bladed tool, push the plastic slot inward and lift upward to remove the guide (1) from the seat back frame.

  5. Front Seat Head Restraint Guide (1) - Remove [2x]

    WARNING:

    Refer to Eye Protection Warning .

    Front Seat Back Upper Support Rivet (1) - Remove and DISCARD [4x]

  7. Front Seat Back Frame Reinforcement Rivet (2) - Remove and DISCARD [2x]
  8. Front Seat Vent Fan Control Module Bolt (3) - Remove [2x]
  9. Release the front seat back upper support (1) from the front seat back frame.
  10. Front Seat Back Upper Support (4) - Remove

    Depress the retaining tabs to release the front seat back side bolster bladder from the front seat back frame.

  12. Front Seat Back Side Bolster Bladder (1) - Remove [2x]

    Disconnect the electrical connector and reposition the wiring harness as necessary.

  14. Release the front seat back lumbar pump retainer and reposition the pump.
  15. Release the retainers.
  16. Front Seat Lumbar Support (1) - Reposition

    Disconnect and reposition harness as necessary.

  18. Front Seat Upper Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]
  19. Front Seat Back Frame (2) - Remove
  20. Transfer components as necessary.
