Installation Procedure

Front Seat Back Frame (2) - Install
- If NEW threaded components are being installed, loosen the adhesive using a metal pick or similar tool before proceeding. If threaded components are reused, prepare the threaded components using the following steps:
- Remove any loose cured adhesive from the external threads of the components using a lint free cloth.
- Thread the cleaned components into the internal mating threads and remove to loosen trapped cured adhesive.
- Apply thread locking adhesive to the external threads of the components. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
- Ensure there are no gaps in the thread locking adhesive once applied to the component.
- Front Seat Upper Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
Front Seat Lumbar Support (1) - Install
- Install the retainers.
- Install the front seat back lumbar pump and install the retainer.
- Connect the electrical connector and position the wiring harness.
Front Seat Back Side Bolster Bladder (1) - Install [2x]
Front Seat Back Upper Support (4) - Install
- Front Seat Vent Fan Control Module Bolt (3) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
- Front Seat Back Frame Reinforcement Rivet (2) - Install NEW [2x] - Fastener Specifications
- Front Seat Back Upper Support Rivet (1) - Install NEW [4x] - Fastener Specifications
Front Seat Head Restraint Guide (1) - Install [2x]
Front Seat Head Restraint Frame (2) - Install
Front Seat Back Cover and Pad (1) - Install - Front Seat Back Cover and Pad Removal and Installation (with Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel) , or Front Seat Back Cover and Pad Removal and Installation (without Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel) , or Front Seat Back Cover and Pad Removal and Installation (Blackwing)
