Driver or Passenger Seat Removal - With No Fore/Aft Movement

    WARNING:

    Refer to SIR Warning .

  1. Disable the SIR system. SIR Disabling and Enabling

    Raise the front seat head restraint (3) to gain access to the head restraint guide bezel (1).

  3. Twist the head restraint guide bezel (1) counter clockwise and push the bezel upward on the head restraint adjuster rod.
  4. Using a suitable pointed or flat bladed tool, push the head restraint clip (2) rearward while pulling upward on the front seat head restraint (3).
  5. Adjust the seat to gain access to the bolts.

    Front Seat Vertical Adjuster Bracket Bolt - Rear (1) - Remove [2x]

    Tilt the seat forward and support it.

  8. Cross Brace Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]

    NOTE:

    The seat can now be moved fore/aft to access the seat bolts.

    Front Seat Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]

  10. NOTE:

    If sending the frame back for warranty return, reinstall the front seat vertical adjuster bracket bolts and the cross brace bolts.

  11. Replace with NEW seat cushion frame.
