Lubricant is contaminated Drain and flush the axle housing thoroughly. Refill with the correct lubricant. Rear Axle Lubricant Replacement (LSY) , or Rear Axle Lubricant Replacement (L3B) , or Rear Axle Lubricant Replacement (LF4)
The clutch plates are deteriorated Replace the differential carrier assembly.
