Removal Procedure

- Oil Filler Cap - Remove
Intake Manifold Cover Bolt (1) - Remove
- Intake Manifold Cover (2) - Remove
- Install the oil filler cap after removal of the intake manifold cover to prevent debris from falling into the engine.
Retainer (2) @ Charge Air Bypass Valve Vacuum Tank Tube (1) - Unclip
- Charge Air Bypass Valve Vacuum Tank Tube (3) - Disconnect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
Disengage the charge air bypass valve vacuum tank tube clamp (1). Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Charge Air Bypass Valve Vacuum Tank Tube (2) - Remove
- Retainer (3) - Disengage
Retainer (2) @ Charge Air Bypass Valve Vacuum Tank Tube (3) - Unclip [2x]
- Clamp (1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Charge Air Bypass Valve Vacuum Tank Tube (3) - Remove
