Removal Procedure

- Oil Filler Cap - Remove
Intake Manifold Cover Bolt (1) - Remove
- Intake Manifold Cover (2) - Remove
- Install the oil filler cap after removal of the intake manifold cover to prevent debris from falling into the engine.
Disengage the charge air bypass valve vacuum tank tube clamp (1). Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Charge Air Bypass Valve Vacuum Tank Tube (2) - Remove
Clamp (1) - Disengage [2x] - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Charge Air Bypass Valve Vacuum Tank Tube (3) @ Charge Air Bypass Valve - Remove
Electrical Connector (1) @ Charge Air Bypass Valve (2) - Disconnect
Charge Air Bypass Valve Vacuum Tank Bolt (1) - Remove
- Charge Air Bypass Valve Vacuum Tank Nut (2) - Remove
- Charge Air Bypass Valve Bolt Spacer (3) @ Charge Air Bypass Valve (4) - Remove
Charge Air Bypass Valve (2) @ Charge Air Bypass Valve Vacuum Source Tube (1) - Disconnect
- Charge Air Bypass Valve (2) - Remove
