Installation Procedure

    Camshaft Position Sensor (2) - Install

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Camshaft Position Sensor Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  3. Connect the camshaft position sensor (2) electrical connector.

    Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose (2) @ Engine Radiator - Install

  5. Retainer (3) - Engage
  6. Radiator Inlet Hose Clip (Shown Open) (1) - Connect

    Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose (1) @ Supercharger Water Manifold - Install

  8. Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose Clamp (2) - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
  9. Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose Retainer (3) @ Charge Air Cooler Coolant Outlet Pipe Bracket - Install

    Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose (2) - Install

  11. Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose (2) @ Auxiliary Water Pump - Install
  12. Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose Clamp (1) - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type

    Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose (2) @ Supercharger Water Manifold - Install

  14. Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose Clamp (3) - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
  15. Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose Retainer (1) @ Charge Air Cooler Coolant Outlet Pipe Bracket - Install [2x]

    Air Cleaner Assembly (2) - Install

  17. Air Cleaner Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  18. Install all retainers and wiring harnesses to the air cleaner assembly as necessary.
  19. Connect the 2 mass airflow sensor electrical connectors.

    Auxiliary Air Cleaner Outlet Duct (4) - Install

  21. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Clamp (3) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications
  22. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct (2) - Install
  23. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Clamp (1) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace- Left Side and Right Side (3) - Install [2x]

  25. Front Suspension Strut Upper Mounting Nut- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
  26. Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace Bolt- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications
  27. Install all wiring harness retainers to the front end sheet metal cross braces.

    Radiator Air Upper Baffle- Upper (3) - Install

  29. Radiator Air Upper Baffle Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  30. Radiator Air Upper Baffle Retainer (1) - Install [5x]

    Transmission Control Module (1) @ Engine Control Module Bracket (2) - Install

  32. Engine Control Module Bracket (2) - Install

    Engine Control Module Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

    Engine Control Module (1) - Install

  35. Connect the electrical connectors.

    Radiator Surge Tank Outlet Pipe (3) - Install

  37. Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose Clamp (4) @ Engine Radiator - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
  38. Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose Clip (2) @ Engine Control Module Bracket - Install
  39. Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose Clamp (1) @ Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
  40. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  41. Fill the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY with V03 Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (L3B Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (L3B GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY with V03 GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LF4 Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LF4 GE 47716)
  42. Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
