Installation Procedure

  1. Turbocharger Bypass Valve Solenoid (2) - Install
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Compressor Air Intake Turbocharger Bypass Valve Solenoid Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications
  4. Connect the electrical connector.
  5. GM5398967

    Air Cleaner Outlet Duct (1) - Install

  6. Connect the electrical connector.
  7. GM5398955

    Positive Crankcase Ventilation Tube (3) - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 

  8. Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Tube (2) - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 
  9. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Clamp (1) - Tighten [2x] -
  10. GM5432174

    Intake Manifold Cover (1) @ Upper Intake Manifold Bracket (2) - Install

  11. GM5432171

    Push down on the front of the intake manifold cover (2).

  12. Intake Manifold Cover Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  13. Install the oil fill cap.
  14. Perform the intake system learned values reset. Intake System Learned Values Reset
