Removal Procedure

  1. Relieve the fuel system pressure. Fuel Pressure Relief 
  2. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  3. Remove the oil fill cap.
  4. GM5432171

    Intake Manifold Cover Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

  5. Lift up on the front of the intake manifold cover (2).

    Intake Manifold Cover (1) @ Upper Intake Manifold Bracket (2) - Remove

  7. GM5404330

    Intake Manifold Cover Bolt (1) - Remove

  8. Intake Manifold Cover Insulator (2) - Remove
  9. GM5129466

    Fuel Feed Pipe Bolt (1) - Remove

  10. GM5129475

    Fuel Feed Pipe (1) - Remove - Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
