Installation Procedure

  1. GM5404599

    Fuel Feed Intermediate Pipe (2) - Install NEW

    2. CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution

  2. Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Pipe Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  3. GM5404598

    Nut @ Fuel Feed Intermediate Pipe (1) - Tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

  4. GM5457857

    Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose Clip (2) @ Upper Intake Manifold Bracket (3) - Install

  5. GM5404330

    Intake Manifold Cover Insulator (2) - Install

  6. Intake Manifold Cover Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  7. GM5432174

    Intake Manifold Cover (1) @ Upper Intake Manifold Bracket (2) - Install

  8. GM5432171

    Push down on the front of the intake manifold cover (2).

  9. Intake Manifold Cover Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  10. Install the oil fill cap.
  11. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  12. Pressurize the fuel system and inspect for leaks.
