Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the oil fill cap.
  2. GM5432171

    Intake Manifold Cover Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

  3. Lift up on the front of the intake manifold cover (2).
  4. GM5432174

    Intake Manifold Cover (1) @ Upper Intake Manifold Bracket (2) - Remove

  5. GM5395526
    NOTE:

    Only replace the faulty camshaft exhaust lobe sensor.

    Disconnect the camshaft exhaust lobe sensor electrical connector.

  6. Camshaft Exhaust Lobe Sensor Bolt (1) - Remove
  7. Camshaft Exhaust Lobe Sensor (2) - Remove
