Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the oil fill cap.
  2. GM5432171

    Intake Manifold Cover Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

  3. Lift up on the front of the intake manifold cover (2).
  4. GM5432174

    Intake Manifold Cover (1) @ Upper Intake Manifold Bracket (2) - Remove

  5. GM5504333

    Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Tube (1) @ Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve (2) - Disconnect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 

  6. GM5395516

    Disconnect the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve electrical connector.

  7. Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve Bolt (1) - Remove
  8. Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve (2)
