Installation Procedure

CAUTION:
Refer to: Component Fastener Tightening Caution .

Spark Plug (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Inspect the inside of the ignition coil boot for a thin, even coat of dielectric grease. If there is no grease present or additional grease is necessary, apply a thin coating of dielectric grease to the inside of the ignition coil boot up to a depth of 15 mm (0.60 in from the end of the boot. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
Remove any excess dielectric grease from around the end of the ignition coil boot and ensure there is not an excessive amount within the boot.
Ignition Coil (2) - Install

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Ignition Coil Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
Connect the ignition coil electrical connector.
Upper Intake Manifold Bracket (2) - Install
Upper Intake Manifold Cover Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
Upper Intake Manifold Cover Bracket Bolt (1) @ Upper Intake Manifold Bracket (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
Wiring Harness (4) - Reposition
Retainer (2) @ Upper Intake Manifold Bracket (3) - Install [3x]
Electrical Connector (1) - Connect [3x]
Intake Manifold Cover (1) @ Upper Intake Manifold Bracket (2) - Install
NOTE:
Ensure the engine sight shield retainers fully engage the intake manifold cover studs.

Push down on the front of the intake manifold cover (1).
Install the oil fill cap.
