Installation Procedure

  1. GM5299746

    Camshaft Position Sensor (2) - Install

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Camshaft Position Sensor Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  3. Connect the camshaft position sensor electrical connector.
  4. Connect and reposition electrical wiring harness connectors as necessary.

    Intake Manifold Cover (1) @ Upper Intake Manifold Bracket (2) - Install

  6. GM5335087
    NOTE:

    Ensure the intake manifold cover fully engages the intake manifold cover studs.

  7. Push down on the front of the intake manifold cover (1) as indicated.
  8. Install the oil fill cap.
