Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  2. Remove the rear tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
  3. GM5892383

    { If equipped } Wiring Harness Retainer (2) - Disengage

  4. { If equipped } Rear Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor (1) @ Wiring Harness Retainer (2) - Remove
  5. Wiring Harness Retainer (4) - Disengage
  6. Rear Wheel Speed Sensor (3) @ Wiring Harness Retainer (4) - Remove
  7. GM5892385

    Rear Brake Hose Clip Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

  8. Rear Brake Pipe Nut (2) - Remove
  9. Rear Brake Pipe Clip (3) - Remove
  10. Cap the rear brake pipe outlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.

    Rear Brake Hose Fitting (1) - Remove

  12. Rear Brake Hose Fitting Gasket (3) - Remove and DISCARD [2x]
  13. Rear Brake Hose (2) @ Rear Brake Caliper - Remove
  14. Plug the rear brake caliper inlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.

    Rear Brake Hose (1) - Remove
