Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  3. Remove the rear tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

    Rear Brake Pipe Nut (1) - Remove

  5. Rear Brake Hose Retainer (2) - Remove
  6. Cap the rear brake pipe outlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
  7. Plug the rear brake hose inlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.

    Rear Brake Hose Fitting (1) - Remove

  9. Rear Brake Hose Fitting Gasket (2) - Remove and DISCARD [2x]
  10. Rear Brake Hose (3) - Remove
  11. Plug the rear brake caliper inlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
  12. Plug the rear brake hose outlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
