Removal Procedure

  1. Place shop cloths beneath the radiator surge tank outlet pipe connection points to absorb any potential coolant spillage.
  2. GM5861123

    Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose Clamp (1) @ Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type 

  3. Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose Clip (2) @ Engine Control Module Bracket - Remove
  4. Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose Clamp (4) @ Engine Radiator - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type 
  5. Radiator Surge Tank Outlet Pipe (3) - Remove
