Installation Procedure

  1. GM5446509

    Radiator Inlet Pipe (3) - Install

  2. Auxiliary Radiator Outlet Pipe Clip (4) - Install [2x]
  3. Radiator Inlet Hose (1) @ Radiator Inlet Pipe (3) - Install [2x]
  4. Radiator Inlet Hose Clamp (2) - Engage [2x] - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type 
  5. GM5405476

    Air Cleaner Outlet Duct (1) - Install

  6. Connect the electrical connector.

    Positive Crankcase Ventilation Tube (3) - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service

  8. Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Tube (2) - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
    9. CAUTION:

    Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .

  9. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Clamp (1) - Tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  10. Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY with V03 Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY with V03 GE 47716) 
  11. Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
