Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front bumper fascia. Front Bumper Upper Fascia Removal and Installation (with Shutter and Sport Sedan or V Series) , or Front Bumper Upper Fascia Removal and Installation (with Frame and Sport Sedan or V Series)
  2. Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY with V03 Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY with V03 GE 47716)

    Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Clamp (1) - Loosen

  4. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove all wiring harnesses from the air cleaner assembly.

    Air Cleaner Bolt (1) - Remove

  6. Air Cleaner Assembly (2) - Remove

    Radiator Inlet Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type 

  8. Radiator Inlet Hose (2) @ Radiator Inlet Pipe - Remove
  9. GM5471096

    Using an appropriate tool, disengage the radiator inlet hose retainer (1).

  10. Radiator Inlet Hose (2) - Remove
