Installation Procedure

  1. GM5396237

    Engine Oil Cooler Coolant Outlet Hose (2) - Install

  2. Hose Clamp (1) - Engage [2x] - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type 
  3. GM5396233

    Automatic Transmission Fluid Cooling Heat Exchanger Outlet Hose (2) @ Engine Oil Cooler Coolant Outlet Hose - Install

  4. Hose Clamp (1) - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type 
  5. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (L3B Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (L3B GE 47716) 
  6. Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
