Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY with V03 Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY with V03 GE 47716) 
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

    Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type 

  4. Automatic Transmission Fluid Cooling Exchanger (2) @ Engine Oil Cooler Coolant Inlet Hose - Remove
  5. GM5123085

    Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage [2x] - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type 

  6. Engine Oil Cooler Coolant Inlet Hose (2) @ Engine Oil Cooler - Remove
  7. Engine Oil Cooler Coolant Inlet Hose (2) @ Engine Coolant Flow Control Valve - Remove
