Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

    Front Bumper Fascia Center Air Deflector Screw (1) - Remove [10x]

    Front Bumper Fascia Center Air Deflector Screw (1) - Remove [3x]

  4. GM5407644

    Front Bumper Fascia Center Air Deflector Screw (1) - Remove [6x]

  5. Front Bumper Fascia Center Air Deflector Bolt (2) - Remove [5x]
  6. Front Bumper Fascia Center Air Deflector Retainer (3) - Remove [2x]

    Pull the front bumper fascia center air deflector (1) rearward and down from the front bumper fascia.

    Radiator Air Lower Seal Retainer (1) - Remove [4x]

  9. Lower the vehicle.

    Radiator Air Upper Baffle Retainer (1) - Remove [7x]

  11. Radiator Air Upper Baffle (2) - Remove

    Wiring Harness Retainer (1) - Remove

  13. Radiator Upper Bracket Bolt (3) - Remove [4x]
  14. Radiator Upper Bracket (2) - Remove [2x]

    Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube Clip Bolt (1) - Remove

  16. Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube Bracket (2) - Reposition
  17. Engine Coolant Fan Electrical Connector (3) @ Forward Lamp Wiring Harness (4) - Disconnect

    Air Cleaner Bolt (1) - Remove

  19. Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Tube (2) - Disconnect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
  20. Positive Crankcase Ventilation Tube (3) - Disconnect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
  21. Electrical Connector (4) - Disconnect [2x]

    Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Clamp (1) - Loosen

  23. Wiring Harness Retainer (2) @ Air Cleaner Assembly - Remove [4x]
  24. Engine Wiring Harness (3) - Reposition
  25. GM5479539

    Remove the air cleaner (1) and air cleaner outlet duct (2) as an assembly.

    Air Conditioning Condenser Tube Clip (1) @ Engine Cooler Fan - Remove

  27. Auxiliary Radiator Outlet Pipe Clip (2) - Remove [2x]
  28. Auxiliary Radiator Inlet Pipe (3) - Reposition away

    Engine Coolant Fan Bolt (2) - Remove [4x]

  30. Engine Cooler Fan (3) @ Engine Radiator (1) - Remove
