Installation Procedure

    Maneuver the instrument panel compartment air duct - inner (1) back behind the Instrument panel.

    Instrument Panel Center Air Outlet Duct Retainer (1) - Install

    Instrument Panel Compartment Air Duct- Outer (2) - Install

    Connect the electrical connector.

  7. Instrument Panel Lower Center Trim Panel (1) - Install

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications

    Instrument Panel Trim Pad (1) - Install

    Connect the electrical connectors.

    Instrument Panel Compartment Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [5x] - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connector.

  14. Instrument Panel Lower Airbag - Passenger Side (2) - Install
  15. Instrument Panel Lower Airbag Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connectors.

  17. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator (1) - Install
  18. Install the front edge of the front floor console extension panel into the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator (1).

    Instrument Panel Insulator Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

  20. Connect and position the wiring harness.

    Unlock and lower the body control module bracket (2) from the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator.

    Body Control Module (4) - Install

  23. Connect the body control module connectors (3).
  24. Attach the wiring harness clips (1) onto the body control module bracket.
  25. Install the detent (2) onto the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator.

    Close and lock the body control module bracket (2) into the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator.

  27. Body Control Module Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    { If equipped } Connect the electrical connector.

    Floor Front Air Outlet Duct - Left Side- Inner (1) - Install

    NOTE:

    Typical wiring harness shown. Individual wiring harnesses may differ based on option content.

    Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Upper and Blow Lower Case Bolt (3) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

  32. Position the harness back to the harness original routing. (2)
  33. Wiring Harness Clip (1) - Install [2x]

    Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Deflector (2) - Install

  35. Instrument Panel Tie Bar Brace Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

    Floor Front Air Outlet Duct - Left Side- Outer (2) - Install

  37. Floor Front Air Outlet Duct Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  38. Connect the electrical connectors to the instrument panel knee bolster switches, and position the harness back to its original position.

    Connect and position the wiring harness.

  40. Instrument Panel Knee Bolster (1) - Install

    Data Link Connector Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

  42. Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connector.

  44. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator (1) - Install

    Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator Retainer (1) - Install

  46. Instrument Panel Insulator Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  47. Instrument Panel Insulator Nut (3) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Attach the hood primary latch release cable end retainer to the hood primary latch release cable handle (1).

    Connect the electrical connector.

  50. Instrument Panel Lower Airbag - Driver Side (2) - Install
  51. Instrument Panel Lower Airbag Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Front Floor Console (1) - Install - Front Floor Console Removal and Installation (with M5N) , or Front Floor Console Removal and Installation (with MQA) , or Front Floor Console Removal and Installation (Blackwing)

    Instrument Panel Center Trim Pad (1) - Install

  54. Return the steering column to its original position.

    Connect the electrical connector.

  56. Hazard Warning Switch (2) - Install
  57. Firmly secure the hazard warning switch (2) straight forward and ensure it is fully seated.
  58. Hazard Warning Switch Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connector.

  60. Heater and Air Conditioning User Interface Control (2) - Install
  61. Heater and Air Conditioning Control Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Instrument Panel Trim Plate (2) - Install

  63. Instrument Panel Center Air Outlet Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications
  64. Connect the electrical connectors.

    Radio Control (2) - Install
