Removal Procedure

With a flat bladed plastic trim tool, start at the front and work your way back to release the clips.
- Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover - Right Side (1) - Remove
- { If equipped } Disconnect the electrical connector.
- NOTE:
Left side shown, right side similar.
Starting at the rear of the front side door sill garnish molding (1), pull upward at the B-pillar joint to disengage the garnish molding.
- Work your way forward disengaging all the front side door sill garnish molding clips then pull rearward to disengage the clip on the forward vertical wall.
- Front Side Door Sill Garnish Molding (1) - Remove
- Passenger Seat - Remove - Front Seat Removal and Installation , or Front Seat Removal and Installation (Blackwing)
Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retainer clips and remove the right side front floor console extension panel (1).
Floor Carpet Retainer (1) - Remove
- Front Floor Panel Carpet (2) - Remove
- Pull back the rear carpet to gain access to the right floor rear air outlet duct.
Floor Rear Air Outlet Duct Retainer (1) - Remove
- Unclip the right side floor rear air outlet duct at the body stud (2).
- Floor Rear Air Outlet Duct - Right Side (3) - Remove
