Removal Procedure

    With a flat bladed plastic trim tool, start at the front of the instrument panel outer trim cover (1) and work your way back to release the clips to remove.

    Starting at the rear of the front side door sill garnish molding (1), pull upward at the B-pillar joint to disengage the garnish molding.

  3. Work your way forward disengaging all the front side door sill garnish molding clips then pull rearward to disengage the clip on the forward vertical wall.
  4. Driver Seat - Remove - Front Seat Removal and Installation , or Front Seat Removal and Installation (Blackwing)

    Driver Footrest (1) - Remove

    Accelerator Pedal Cover (1) - Remove

  7. Accelerator Pedal Bracket Bolt (2) - Remove
  8. Tilt the top of the accelerator pedal rearward.
  9. Slide the accelerator pedal (3) back to disengage the lower retaining tabs.
  10. Disconnect the electrical connector.

    Front Floor Console (1) - Remove - Front Floor Console Removal and Installation (with M5N) , or Front Floor Console Removal and Installation (with MQA) , or Front Floor Console Removal and Installation (Blackwing)

    Floor Carpet Retainer Button (1) - Remove

  13. Floor Carpet Retainer (2) - Remove [2x]
  14. Front Floor Panel Carpet - Left Side (3) - Remove
  15. Pull back the rear carpet to gain access to the left floor rear air outlet duct.

    Floor Rear Air Outlet Duct Retainer (1) - Remove

  17. Unclip the left side floor rear air outlet duct at the body stud (2).
  18. Floor Rear Air Outlet Duct - Left Side (3) - Remove
