Removal Procedure

Disable the SIR system. SIR Disabling and Enabling

Instrument Panel Lower Airbag Nut (1) - Remove [2x]
Instrument Panel Lower Airbag - Passenger Side (2) - Remove
Disconnect the electrical connector.

Body Control Module Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove
Unlock and lower the body control module bracket (2) from the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator.

Instrument Panel Insulator Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]

Release the detent (2) from the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator.
Detach the wiring harness clips (1) from the body control module bracket.
Disconnect the body control module connectors (3).
Body Control Module (4) - Remove

Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator - Right Side (1) - Remove
Position the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator out of the way.

Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Upper and Blow Lower Case Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]
Disconnect the electrical connector.
