Removal Procedure

  1. Recover the refrigerant. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging

    Unfasten the engine harness (1) from the air conditioning refrigerant heat exchanger bracket, and position out of the away.

  3. Unfasten the auxiliary generator battery jumper cable (2) from the lower air conditioning refrigerant heat exchanger bracket stud, and position away.

    Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose Clip Nut (1) - Remove [2x]

  5. Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger (2) - Remove

    Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve Hose Nut (1) @ Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve - Remove

    Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger (1) @ Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve - Remove

  8. Air Conditioning Evaporator Outlet Tube Seal (2) - Remove and DISCARD
  9. Air Conditioning Evaporator Inlet Tube Seal (3) - Remove and DISCARD

    Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Nut (1) - Remove

  11. Air Conditioning Evaporative Connector Hose/Tube and Compressor Hose (2) @ Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger - Remove
  12. Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Seal (3) - Remove and DISCARD
  13. Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube Clip Bracket Bolt (4) - Remove

    Air Conditioning Condenser Hose Nut (1) @ Air Conditioning Condenser - Remove

  15. Air Conditioning Condenser Tube Clip (2) - Remove

    Air Conditioning Evaporative Connector Hose/Tube and Compressor Hose (1) @ Air Conditioning Condenser - Remove

  17. Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Seal (2) - Remove and DISCARD

    Retainer (1) @ Engine Control Module Bracket - Remove

    Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger (1) @ Air Conditioning Condenser - Remove

  20. Air Conditioning Condenser Hose Seal (2) - Remove and DISCARD
  21. Remove the air conditioning refrigerant heat exchanger from the engine compartment.
