Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2022 Cadillac CT4. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- If the jack stand was removed performing other procedures, place the jack stand back into position as described in removal steps 9 - 11.
DO NOT ATTEMPT OTHER REPAIRS WITH JACK STANDS IN PLACE.
Rear Suspension Bracket (2) - Install
- Rear Suspension Cradle Front Bolt (3) - Install NEW and hand tighten
- Rear Suspension Bracket Bolt (4) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Rear Suspension Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Rear Suspension Cradle Front Bolt (3) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications
Reposition the hoist lift pad (2) back underneath the vehicle.
- Using the jack stand (1) and the block of wood, slowly lower the vehicle back on the hoist pad (2).
Remove the jack stand (2) and the block of wood (1) from underneath the vehicle.
Remove the jack stand (1) supporting the differential carrier.
Underbody Rear Air Deflector (5) - Install
- Underbody Rear Air Deflector Plastic Nut (2) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications
- Underbody Rear Air Deflector Bolt (3) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications
- Underbody Rear Air Deflector Nut (4) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
- Rear Wheelhouse Liner Screw (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Rear Tire Front Air Deflector (2) - Install
- Rear Tire Front Air Deflector Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
NOTE:
The following service procedure is to be performed one side at a time.
CAUTION:
This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.
