Removal Procedure

    Apply masking tape over the outside rearview mirror glass (1).

    Apply pressure inward at the top of the outside rearview mirror glass (1) until full travel is reached.

    Firmly grasp the outer bottom edge of the outside rearview mirror glass (1).

    Retaining pressure on the outside rearview mirror glass (1), pull outward until the outside rearview mirror glass is released from the outside rearview mirror actuator (2).

  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

    Front Side Door Trim (4) - Remove - Front Side Door Trim Removal and Installation

    Use a flat-bladed plastic tool to remove the push-in retainers.

  8. Front Side Door Window Garnish Molding Retainer (1) - Remove [2x]
  9. Pull outward starting at the front and moving slowly rearward to remove the window garnish molding (2).
  10. Front Side Door Window Garnish Molding (2) - Remove

    Disconnect all electrical connectors.

  12. NOTE:

    Leave 1 outside rearview mirror nut partially installed, secure the outside rearview mirror housing, and proceed to remove remaining outside rearview mirror nut.

  13. Outside Rearview Mirror Nut (1) - Remove [3x]
  14. Outside Rearview Mirror Housing (2) - Remove
