Removal Procedure

Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the retaining tab.
Exterior Flood Lamp - (1) Remove
Disconnect the electrical connector.

Apply masking tape over the outside rearview mirror glass (1).

Apply pressure inward at the top of the outside rearview mirror glass (1) until full travel is reached.

Firmly grasp the outer bottom edge of the outside rearview mirror glass (1).

Retaining pressure on the outside rearview mirror glass (1), pull outward until the outside rearview mirror glass is released from the outside rearview mirror actuator (2).
Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Outside Rearview Mirror Housing Lower Cover Screw (1) - Remove
Outside Rearview Mirror Housing Upper Cover Screw (2) - Remove [3x]
Outside Rearview Mirror Housing Upper Cover (3) - Remove

NOTE:
The fasteners listed below are left hand threaded and must be removed in the opposite direction as conventional fasteners.

Outside Rearview Mirror Turn Signal Lamp Screw (1) - Remove [2x]
Outside Rearview Mirror Turn Signal Lamp (2) - Remove
Disconnect the electrical connector.
