Removal Procedure

    Remove the driver and passenger seat (2). Front Seat Removal and Installation , or Front Seat Removal and Installation (Blackwing)

  2. Front Floor Console - Remove - Front Floor Console Removal and Installation (with M5N) , or Front Floor Console Removal and Installation (with MQA) , or Front Floor Console Removal and Installation (Blackwing)

    NOTE:

    Left side shown, right side similar.

    With a flat bladed plastic trim tool, start at the front and work your way back to release the clips.

  4. Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover (1) - Remove
  5. { If equipped } Disconnect the electrical connector.

  7. Starting at the rear of the front side door sill garnish molding (1), pull upward at the b-pillar joint to disengage the garnish molding.
  8. Work your way forward disengaging all the front side door sill garnish molding clips then pull rearward to disengage the clip on the forward vertical wall.

    Rear Seat Cushion (1) - Remove - Rear Seat Cushion Removal and Installation

    Fold the rear seat back to the downward position.

  12. Access the rear seat back bolster retainer lock (1) through a slot in the upper portion of the bolster.
  13. Slide the rear seat back bolster retainer lock (1) toward the front of the vehicle.

  15. Rear Seat Back Bolster Nut (1) - Remove
  16. Squeeze the rear seat back bolster retainer to release it.
  17. Rear Seat Back Bolster (2) - Remove

    Use the appropriate plastic trim tool to aid in the removal of the rear side door sill garnish molding (1).

    Front Seat Belt Anchor Plate Tensioner Cover (1) - Remove

  21. Front Seat Belt Anchor Plate Tensioner Bolt- Upper (2) - Remove

    Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel (1) - Remove

    Rear Floor Panel Carpet Retainer (1) - Remove [2x]

  24. Rear Floor Panel Carpet (2) - Remove
