Installation Procedure

    Install the headliner wiring harness, if necessary.

    • Lay the wiring harness on the new headlining trim panel (2) to confirm correct routing and ensure harness leads are proper length for mating connections prior to gluing.
    • Use hot melt adhesive to install the wiring harness. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers 
    • Apply insulator tape over glued locations to prevent squeaks and rattles as needed.
  2. With the aid of an assistant, position the headlining trim panel (2) into the vehicle through the front windshield.
  3. Connect the electrical connectors.
  4. Engage the two retainers (1) at the rear underside of the headlining trim panel (2).
  5. Push on headlining trim panel (2) around sunroof opening to seat the retainers.
  6. Windshield - Install - Windshield Replacement

    Apply pressure upward on the high mount stop lamp cover (1) to engage the retaining tabs.

  8. Ensure the retaining tabs have engaged and the high mount stop lamp cover (1) is fully seated to the headlining trim panel (2).
  9. High Mount Stop Lamp Opening Cover (1) - Install

    Quarter Upper Trim Panel (1) - Install [2x]

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

  12. Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Bolt Cap (1) - Install [2x]

    Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel (1) - Install [2x]

    Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

  15. Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Bolt Cap (1) - Install [2x]

    Roof Rail Rear Assist Handle (2) - Install [2x]

  17. Roof Rail Rear Assist Handle Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

    Roof Rail Assist Handle (2) - Install [2x]

  19. Roof Rail Assist Handle Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

    Windshield Multifunction Sensor Mount Bracket Cover Insert (1) - Install

    Install the windshield multifunction sensor mount bracket cover (1) ensuring the retaining tabs are fully seated.

    Install the roof console (1) and front roof console tab into the headliner.

    Push up both sides of the roof console (1) along the retaining clips to install.

    Sunshade Support (2) - Install [2x]

  25. Sunshade Support Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connectors.

  27. Sunshade (3) - Install [2x]
  28. Sunshade Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
  29. Sunshade Retainer Bolt Cover (1) - Install

    Windshield Garnish Molding (1) - Install [2x]

  31. Connect the electrical connectors.
  32. Windshield Garnish Molding Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  33. Enable the SIR System. SIR Disabling and Enabling
