Removal Procedure

    Drivers side seat (2) - Remove - Front Seat Removal and Installation , or Front Seat Removal and Installation (Blackwing)

    Front Floor Console (1) - Remove - Front Floor Console Removal and Installation (with M5N) , or Front Floor Console Removal and Installation (with MQA) , or Front Floor Console Removal and Installation (Blackwing)

    NOTE:

    Left side shown, right side similar.

    With a flat bladed plastic trim tool, start at the front and work your way back to release the clips.

  4. Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover (1) - Remove
  5. { If equipped } Disconnect the electrical connector.

    Starting at the rear of the front side door sill garnish molding (1), pull upward at the b-pillar joint to disengage the garnish molding.

  7. Work your way forward disengaging all the front side door sill garnish molding clips then pull rearward to disengage the clip on the forward vertical wall.

    Driver Footrest Retainer (1) - Remove

  10. Use a flat-bladed plastic trim tool to release the driver footrest (2) from the driver footrest bracket.
  11. Pull the driver footrest (2) out at the top first, then release the bottom integral tab.
  12. Driver Footrest (2) - Remove

    Accelerator Pedal Cover (1) - Remove

  14. Accelerator Pedal Bracket Bolt (2) - Remove
  15. Disconnect the connector from the accelerator pedal.
  16. Tilt the top of the accelerator pedal rearward.
  17. Accelerator Pedal (3) - Remove

    Floor Carpet Retainer Button (1) - Remove

  19. Floor Carpet Retainer (2) - Remove [2x]
  20. Front Floor Panel Carpet-Left Side (3) - Remove
