Installation Procedure

CAUTION:
Use caution when removing components surrounding the Steering Gear Boots. Avoid tool contact with the steering gear boot and clamps. Damage to the steering gear boot may lead to dirt and water contamination in the steering gear rack and components requiring a preventable replacement of the Steering Gear and its Components.

NOTE:
The front stabilizer shaft insulators are NOT serviceable. Do NOT transfer the insulators.

Front Stabilizer Shaft (3) - Install
Front Stabilizer Shaft Clamp (2) - Install [2x]

NOTE:

The 4 front stabilizer shaft insulator clamp nuts (1) are to be tightened with the vehicle at ride height.

Front Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Clamp Nut (1) - Loosely install [4x]
Drivetrain and Front Suspension Cradle - Install - Drivetrain and Front Suspension Cradle Removal and Installation (AWD) , or Drivetrain and Front Suspension Cradle Removal and Installation (RWD) , or Drivetrain and Front Suspension Cradle Removal and Installation (Blackwing)
Install the front tire and wheel assemblies. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
Remove the support and lower the vehicle.

CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .

With the vehicle at ride height, tighten the 2 left stabilizer shaft insulator clamp nuts (1). Fastener Specifications
