Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  2. Remove the rear tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

    Disconnect the electrical connector. (1)

  4. Retainer (2) - Remove [4x]

    Retainer (3) - Remove

  6. Rear Brake Caliper Bleeder Valve Cap (2) - Remove
  7. NOTE:

    If sensor is worn from contact with the rear brake rotor, then the rear disc brake pads must be replaced as well. Rear Disc Brake Pads Replacement (JE5, J55) , or Rear Disc Brake Pads Replacement (J6G) 

  8. Rear Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor (1) - Remove
