Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  3. Remove the rear tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

    { If equipped } Rear Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor (1) @ Rear Disc Brake Inner Pad - Remove

    Rear Brake Hose Fitting (2) - Remove

  6. Rear Brake Hose Fitting Gasket (3) - Remove and DISCARD [2x]
  7. Rear Brake Hose (1) @ Rear Brake Caliper - Remove
  8. Plug the rear brake hose outlet to prevent fluid loss and contamination.

    Rear Brake Caliper Guide Pin (1) - Remove [2x]

  10. Rear Disc Brake Pad Spring (2) - Remove

    Rear Brake Caliper Bracket Bolt (2) - Remove [2x]

  12. Rear Brake Caliper (1) - Remove

    Rear Disc Brake Inner Pad (2) - Remove

  14. Rear Disc Brake Outer Pad (1) - Remove
