Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  3. Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

    Front Brake Caliper Bleeder Valve Cap (1) - Remove

  5. NOTE:

    It is not necessary to remove the brake pad wear sensor from the caliper, it is only necessary to remove the brake pad wear sensor grommet from the bleeder valve.

  6. {If equipped} Front Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor Grommet (2) @ Front Brake Caliper Bleeder Valve - Remove
  7. Front Brake Caliper Bleeder Valve (3) - Remove
  8. Plug the brake caliper bleeder valve orifice of the brake caliper to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
