Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify the scan tool parameter: Sensor Reference Circuit Status & Sensor Reference 2 - 4 Circuit Status = Okay
- If not the specified state

- Go to next step: If the specified state
- If not the specified state
- Verify the scan tool parameter: Sensor Reference Circuit Status & Sensor Reference 2 - 4 Circuit Status = The parameter state should not change.
- Perform the action while monitoring the parameter:
- Wiggle the harness and connector: B1 A/C Refrigerant Pressure Sensor
- Wiggle the harness and connector: B22 Brake Pedal Position Sensor - If equipped
- Wiggle the harness and connector: B23 Camshaft Position Sensor
- Wiggle the harness and connector: B25B Clutch Pedal Position Sensor - If equipped
- Wiggle the harness and connector: B26 Crankshaft Position Sensor
- Wiggle the harness and connector: B37B Engine Oil Pressure Sensor
- Wiggle the harness and connector: B65 Manifold Absolute Pressure and Intake Air Temperature Sensor
- Wiggle the harness and connector: B105 Supercharger Air Inlet Pressure Sensor
- Wiggle the harness and connector: B107 Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor
- Wiggle the harness and connector: B115 Vehicle Speed Sensor - If equipped
- Wiggle the harness and connector: M128 Turbocharger Wastegate Actuator
- Wiggle the harness and connector: B227 Gear Position Sensor - If equipped
- Wiggle the harness and connector: B310 Fuel Pressure and Temperature Sensor
- Wiggle the harness and connector: K20 Engine Control Module
- Wiggle the harness and connector: Q38 Throttle Body
- If the parameter state changes
Repair as necessary - Wiring/Terminal(s)/Electrical Connector(s)
- Go to next step: If the parameter state does not change
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If any DTC listed in the DTC Descriptor Category is set

- Go to next step: If none of the DTCs listed in the DTC Descriptor Category is set
- If any DTC listed in the DTC Descriptor Category is set
- All OK.
