Circuit/System Description

The DTC is an informational DTC. The DTC indicates an emission related DTC set in the following control module:
- K9 Body Control Module
- K16 Battery Energy Control Module
- K17 Electronic Brake Control Module
- K20 Engine Control Module
- K38 Chassis Control Module
- K69 Transfer Case Control Module
- K71 Transmission Control Module
- K103 Fuel Injector Control Module
- K107 Drive Motor Control Module
- K111 Fuel Pump Power Control Module
- K114A Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Powertrain Control Module 1
- K114B Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Powertrain Control Module 2
The control module K20 turns on the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) when the requesting control module sends a message over serial data.
