Installation Procedure

- For oil pan assemble, refer to Oil Pan Assemble .
- Oil Pan Installation - Install
Install the bell housing to oil pan bolts (1 and 2). Tighten the bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
Engine Oil Level Sensor (2) - Connect
Install the right transmission cover (2) and bolt (1).
Tighten
Tighten the transmission cover bolt to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
- Engine Oil Cooler Replacement (LT4) - Install
- Starter Replacement (LT4) - Install
Install the left rear transmission cover (2) and the bolt (1).
Tighten
Tighten the transmission cover bolt to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
- Oil Filter - Install - Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement
Disconnect the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (1) - Connect
- Drivetrain and Front Suspension Cradle Removal and Installation (Blackwing) - Install
- Positive Crankcase Ventilation Oil Separator Drain Pipe @ Oil Pan - Connect - Positive Crankcase Ventilation Oil Separator Drain Pipe Replacement
- Oil Level Indicator Tube Replacement - Install
- Fill the engine oil to the proper level with NEW engine oil. Approximate Fluid Capacities , and Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
