Removal Procedure

Remove the clutch assembly. Refer to Clutch Assembly Replacement .

CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the J-42386-A flywheel holding tool and bolts.

Use 1 M10 - 1.5 x 120 mm and 1 M10 - 1.5 x 45 mm bolt for proper tool operation.

Tighten the J-42386-A flywheel holding tool and bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

NOTE:
Do NOT reuse the flywheel bolts.

Remove and DISCARD the flywheel bolts (2).
Remove the manual transmission flywheel (1).
