Callout Component Name
1 Exhaust Valve
2 Intake Valve
3 Valve Stem Oil Seal
NOTE:

NEVER reuse a valve stem oil seal.
4 Valve Spring
5 Valve Stem Spring Cap
6 Valve Stem Key

Procedure

  1. Install the J-8062  compressor (3) onto the head.
  2. Install the valve stem keys.

Special Tools 
J-8062  Valve Spring Compressor
For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .
7 Valve Rocker Arm Wear Pad
NOTE:

Valve Rocker Arm Wear Pads are installed on Intake Valves only.
