Removal Procedure

- Engine - Remove - Engine Replacement (AWD) , or Engine Replacement (RWD)
- Camshaft Timing Chain-Left Side - Remove - Camshaft Timing Chain Assembly Replacement - Left Side
Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Noise Shield (1) - Remove - Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Noise Shield Replacement (Upper) , or Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Noise Shield Replacement (Lower)

Fuel Feed Intermediate Pipe (2) - Remove - Fuel Feed Intermediate Pipe Replacement
- Compressor Air Intake Turbocharger-Left Side - Remove - Compressor Air Intake Turbocharger Replacement - Left Side
- Oil Level Indicator Tube - Remove - Oil Level Indicator Tube Replacement
- Camshaft-Left Side - Remove - Camshaft Replacement - Left Side
Camshaft Carrier-Left Side (2) - Remove - Camshaft Carrier Resealing - Left Side
Remove and DISCARD the 2 front M8 left cylinder head bolts (1).
- Cylinder Head Bolt (2) - Remove and DISCARD [8x]
- Cylinder Head (3) - Remove
- Cylinder Head Gasket (4) - Remove and DISCARD
- Clean, inspect and overhaul the cylinder head as needed. Cylinder Head Overhaul
