Charger Air Cooler Cover Cleaning Procedure

  1. Remove any remaining gasket and/or gasket material from the following:
    • Throttle body mounting surface
    • Intake manifold mounting surface
    • Charger air cooler mounting surfaces
  2. Clean the following charge air cooler cover areas in solvent.
    • Charge air cooler cover gasket sealing areas
    • Charge air cooler cover passages
    • Evaporative emission (EVAP) solenoid passage
    3. WARNING:

    Refer to Safety Glasses Warning .

  3. Dry the charge air cooler cover and throttle body with compressed air.
