Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Phenolic spacer must be present to prevent galvanic/corrosive reaction and/or excessive temperature conduction between engine mount bracket and engine mount. Replace mount if phenolic spacer is missing or damaged. Failure to ensure phenolic spacer is intact and not damaged can lead to premature failure of engine mount and/or engine mount bracket.

    Ensure the phenolic spacer (2) remains in place.

  2. Engine Mount (1) - Install
  3. Electrical Connector @ Engine Mount - Left Side - Connect
  4. Use the EN-51007  Global Engine Support Fixture to lower the left side of the engine onto the engine mount.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Engine Mount Bolt (2) Install NEW and tighten [2x]

    1. First Pass: 58 N.m (43 lb ft)
    2. Final Pass: 60-75 degrees
  6. Engine Mount Nut (1) - Install and tighten to 70 N.m (52 lb ft)
  7. EN-51007  Global Engine Support Fixture - Remove - Engine Support Fixture

    Radiator Inlet Hose (2) @ Engine Coolant Flow Control Valve - Install

  9. Radiator Inlet Hose Clamp (1) - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type

    Radiator Inlet Hose Clip (2) - Install

  11. Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY Static Fill)
  12. Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
