Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Verify DTC B1A30 is not set.
    • Go to next step: If DTC B1A30 is not set 
  3. Verify DTC B31AE 12 or B31AF 12 is not set.
    • If DTC B31AE 12 or B31AF 12 is set 
    1. Verify the appropriate B166 Advanced Parking Assist Alarm Sensors are not contaminated with snow, mud, dirt, slush, or ice.
      • If contaminated, clean the B166 Advanced Parking Assist Alarm Sensors.
      • Go to next step: If there is no contamination
    2. Refer to Circuit/System Testing.
    • Go to next step: If DTC B31AE 12 or B31AF 12 is not set 
  4. Verify B31AE 4A or B31AF 4A is not set.
    • If DTC B31AE 4A or B31AF 4A is set 

      Replace the appropriate B166 Advanced Parking Assist Alarm Sensor with the correct sensor type.

    • Go to next step: If DTC B31AE 4A or B31AF 4A is not set 
  5. Refer to Circuit/System Testing.
