Installation Procedure

    Auxiliary Generator Battery Jumper Cable (1) - Install

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. Battery Positive Cable Nut (2) @Starter Solenoid - Install and Tighten 12.5 N.m (111 lb in)
  3. Electrical Connector (3) - Connect
  4. Starter (4) - Install

    Starter Bolt (4) - Install and Tighten 58 N.m (43 lb ft)

  6. Starter Bolt (1) - Install and Tighten 58 N.m (43 lb ft)
  7. Battery Cable Terminal Bolt (3) - Install and Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

    Starter Heat Shield (2) - Install

  9. Starter Heat Shield Bolt (1) - Install [2x] - Starter Heat Shield Replacement (LGY)

    Turbocharger Oil Feed Pipe Gasket (2) - Install NEW

    Turbocharger Oil Feed Pipe Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Turbocharger Oil Feed Pipe Replacement - Left Side

  12. Position the engine mount bracket and engine mount.

    Engine Oil Cooler Seal (2) - Install NEW [2x]

    Engine Oil Cooler Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Engine Oil Cooler Replacement (LGY)

    Engine Mount Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Left Side (AWD) , or Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Left Side (RWD)

    Engine Mount Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Engine Mount Replacement - Left Side (RWD)

  17. Lower the engine onto the engine mount.

    Engine Mount Nut- Left Side (1) - Install and tighten - Engine Mount Replacement - Left Side

  19. Remove the engine support fixture.
  20. Install the left side warm up three-way catalytic converter. Warm Up Three-Way Catalytic Converter Replacement - Left Side (LGY)
  21. Lower the vehicle.
  22. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
