Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection 
  2. Remove the radiator inlet hose. Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LGY) , or Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (RWD with LGY Radiator Inlet Pipe to Charge Air Cooler)

    Accessory Drive Auxiliary BeltAccessory Drive Auxiliary Belt (1) - Remove - Accessory Drive Auxiliary Belt Replacement

  4. Turbocharger Air Inlet Adapter-Bank 1 - Remove - Turbocharger Air Inlet Adapter Replacement - Bank 1

    Electrical Connector (5) - Disconnect

  6. Protective Cap (1) - Remove
  7. Engine Wiring Harness Generator Lead Nut (2) - Remove
  8. Engine Wiring Harness Terminal (3) - Remove
  9. Retainer (4) - Disengage

    Retainer (2) - Disengage

  11. Radiator Inlet Hose Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove
  12. Radiator Inlet Hose Bracket (3) - Remove

    Retainer (2) - Disengage

  14. Generator Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

    Generator (1) - Remove
