Removal Procedure

- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
Remove the left side rear seat back bolster (2). Rear Seat Back Bolster Replacement
Remove the left side rear floor panel carpet (2). Rear Floor Panel Carpet Replacement
Remove the left side front floor panel carpet (3). Front Floor Panel Carpet Replacement - Left Side
Rear Body Fuse Block Cover (2) - Remove - Rear Body Fuse Block Cover Replacement
Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) - Remove [2x]
- Retainer (2) - Disengage [2x]
- Battery Positive Cable (3) - Remove [2x]
Retainer (2) @Rear Body Fuse Block Bracket (1) - Disengage
- Feed the battery positive cable (3) into the rear passenger compartment.
Retainer (1) - Disengage
- Remove the battery positive cable (2) from the harness channel.
Footrest Bracket Nut (2) - Remove [2x]
- Retainer (1) - Disengage
- Driver Footrest Bracket (3) - Remove
Retainer (1) - Disengage [5x]
- Brake Master Cylinder - Remove - Brake Master Cylinder Replacement - With Power Brake Booster and Electronic Brake Control Module (without MJK) , or Brake Master Cylinder Replacement - With Power Brake Booster and Electronic Brake Control Module (with MJK)
Retainer (2) - Disengage [2x]
- Disengage the battery positive cables (1) from the harness retainer channel.
Fuse Block Cover (2) - Remove
- Auxiliary Generator Battery Jumper Cable Nut (3) - Remove
- Auxiliary Generator Battery Jumper Cable (4) - Reposition away
- Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) - Remove
- Battery Positive Cable (5) - Remove [2x]
Disengage the harness grommet (1) at the dash panel and feed the battery positive cables (2) into the passenger compartment.
- Remove the battery positive cables.
